Hardly seems possible that it's been almost a year since my last entry. To quote, Anna Nalick, "Time is like a hourglass glued to the table," no matter how hard you try, you just can't get it to stop, slow down, or reverse.
I'm feeling very overwhelmed by the amount of information, the apps, programs, opportunities, and other goodies that are available to educators to make life "simpler". I really don't think that's possible. Is there really a simpler way? A way that is less time-consuming that building relationships with our students?
The curse and the blessing of most educators is that we care about our students, about our community, and about the successful implementation of educationally sound practices. How do we balance our lives? I'm at a standstill, right now. So much to do, so little time...and the time slips away faster everyday.
